The HACK Fund is a venture fund created by Hackers/Founders (H/F) that uses blockchain technology to provide accelerated liquidity to investors. Money raised during the token sale will be invested in top technology companies scaling globally.
HACK tokens can be traded freely via online exchanges. Companies are selected for investment only after several rounds of reviews by boards of experts and acceptance to portfolio program. 100% of returns from portfolio exits will be reinvested into existing or recently accepted H/F portfolio companies. Up to 10% of the fund raised will also be used to liquidate our existing funds which are comprised of the best companies in our portfolio. In addition, the team will be contributing $1 Million of stock from existing H/F Funds 1-4.
The HACK Fund will engage an independent service such as eShares/Carta to publicly report the aggregate valuation for portfolio startups. Public reporting will take place two times a year. If the price of HACK falls below 30%, HACK will have the option to repurchase tokens.
After the token sale, HACK will use proceeds to invest in a portfolio of companies, thus the value of HACK is backed by the NAV of the portfolio companies. All token holders will have access to quarterly aggregate valuations for portfolio companies at the time they are publicly reported. HACK is a security token. 100% of returns from exits will be used to reinvest into new or existing portfolio companies. H/F has a track record of 30% growth in its funds for each of the last 5 years.
